After these special ceremonies, we will have a pot-luck lunch which includes traditional treats such as sweet rice, yogurt, chang, and butter tea. Bingo games and an auction will follow lunch. This morning’s practice with Rinpoche and Lama Pasang and Lama Jigme is an offering to all enlightened and worldly beings, local deities and land guardians. This powerful practice helps clear obstacles on every level. Following the puja, we will conclude our festivities with a traditional Nepali Shebru song and dance and a pot-luck picnic lunch for all. Bring your friends and families to this fun-filled celebration! Please bring a pot luck dish, snack, or drink to share!
There is no formal charge for Losar festivities; however, a suggested donation to help cover expenses is $15 per event, or $50 for all activities. No one turned away due to lack of funds!
