Driving Directions to PCD Dallas: Don't Leave Home Without Reading!

Palyul Changchub Dargyeling Dallas

Palyul Changchub Dargyeling Buddhist study centers are in the Tibetan Buddhist Nyingma

tradition, Palyul lineage, founded by His Holiness Penor Rinpoche (www.palyul.org),

and under the direction of Khenchen Tsewang Gyatso Rinpoche

with the blessings of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

The PCD Dallas course of study is directed by Khenchen Tsewang Gyatso Rinpoche.

PCD Dallas study programs are designed to be in harmony with the courses of study at the

Palyul Ling Retreat center in NY (see Summer Retreat, below); which are administered by

His Holiness Penor Rinpoche. The Palyul Ling Summer Retreat study program/curriculum

is directed by His Holiness Penor Rinpoche and is based on the traditional teaching and

study program at the main Palyul monastery in exile:

Namdroling Monastery in Bylakuppe, India.

Our goal is to make the teachings of Buddha available to all who wish to follow them.

And also to make available to Western students: authentic and accurate

teachings from the Palyul lineage of the Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism given by

highly trained and qualified teachers of impeccable academic soundness and quality.

Students of Khenchen Tsewang Gyatso Rinpoche and His Holiness Penor Rinpoche

have been established in Dallas since 1998. Our dream and goal is to achieve the funding

to establish a resident lama to our center in Dallas. A resident Palyul lama in Dallas

would be an enormous benefit not only for Buddhist students - but for the entire region!

There are also many worthy charitable programs to be expanded.

PCD Dallas is a non-profit religious group and is currently seeking official non-profit

status.  We do give receipts for donations but are not yet a 501c3 organization.

Palyul NY Retreat Center and Programs

His Holiness Penor Rinpoche founded the Palyul Retreat Center in 1998 on land located near the town

of McDonough north of the Catskill mountains of New York State. The retreat center is located on an

area spanning about 500 acres and is the site of annual summer retreats conducted by His Holiness

and of on-going practice by monks His Holiness has stationed in the United States. With advance

permission, the center can be used by students who would like to conduct a weekend personal

retreat (except during winter months). In the future, facilities will be available for those who wish

to practice personal retreats for an extended period.

Each year there are formally organized retreats in the summer. Practitioners have the opportunity

to spend July 4th weekend at the center on a Nyungné fasting purification compassion retreat.

From July 10 to August 10, His Holiness Penor Rinpoche will lead the yearly summer retreats.

Ngondrö, Tsa Lung, Dzogchen Tögyal, and Dzogchen Trekchö.
