Books on Tibetan Buddhist Study and Practice

Please Note:

The only readings recommended as a supplement to the June teachings of

Khenchen Tsewang Gyatso Rinpoche are: Words of My Perfect Teacher by Patrul Rinpoche and

A Guide to the Bodhisattva Way of Life: (Bodhicaryavatara) by Santideva.

However, many individuals enjoy reading immensely and ask for book lists.

The books listed below will be helpful to anyone interested in integrating spiritual practice and compassion into daily living.

Read as many, or none, as time and interest permit!

While intellectual understanding is helpful and academic study is good - the most important

factors for those interested in spiritual development are an open heart and a personal and

experiential spiritual practice which leads to developing more compassion and wisdom; and

produces positive changes in oneself and in relationships with family, friends and the world in general.

May All Beings Benefit!
