PUBLIC TALK AND TEACHING:
LOSAR’S MEANING AND MANY BLESSINGS

Rinpoche explains the meaningful traditions, practices and blessings of the Losar New Year activities and offers guidance for enriching our lives in the coming year through dedication, devotion and deepening our personal practice.

HEART SUTRA PRACTICES, WHITE UMBRELLA, LION-FACED DAKINI AND TRADITIONAL LOSAR GUTUK DINNER
Rinpoche and Lama Jigme lead us in practices to remove obstacles and set right intentions for the coming year. Following practice, we will serve Gutuk, “The 29th Day Soup”, a traditional family gathering, the tasty soup and each bowl of this special soup contains hidden messages that predict who you are and fortune for the coming year!

HAPPY LOSAR:
YEAR OF THE HORSE RIDZIN DUPA TSOK OFFERING PUJA, LONG LIFE BLESSING AND PRACTICE

Rinpoche and Lama guides traditional New Year’s day activities which generates great merit and blessings. After these special ceremonies, we will have a pot-luck lunch which includes traditional treats such as sweet rice,yogurt,chang and butter tea.
Please bring a favourite dish, snack or drink to share!

Thrusday and Friday, March 6th and 7th, 2014 (6pm-8pm)
CHOD CLASS WITH LAMA JIGME
Lama Jigme will teach us with its rituals, how to use the drums and bell, trumpet and to the melodies of Chod practice.

Saturday, March 8th, 2014 (11am-1pm)
TEACHING ON CHOD PRACTICE BY RINPOCHE
Rinpoche will teach us to have a deeper understanding of the Chod text. By training practitioners to relinquish and offer their own body, this Vajrayana practice provides a unique method for severing dualistic concepts and perceptions and the “inner demon” of ego clinging. the Chod Sadhana, known as Laughter of the Dakinis, ultimately offers its practitioners a path for swiftly attaining full liberation.

FIRST ANNUAL PCD DALLAS’S CULTURAL PROGRAM
PCD Dallas members will perform various songs, dance and instruments on the occasion of Losar. Motivated to preserve culture and tradition, PCD Dallas will give stage to follow our cultural and traditional talents to upcoming generation from here within every year.

DECHEN THARPA LING LAND CELEBRATION:
RIWO SANG CHO SMOKE OFFERING PUJA, LHAP-SO GOOD LUCK CEREMONY AND AFTERNOON FAMILY FUN DAY

This morning’s practice with Rinpoche and Lama Jigme is an offering to all enlightened and worldly beings, local deities and land guardians. This powerful practice helps clear obstacles on every level. Following the puja, we will conclude our festivities with a traditional Himalayan Shebru song and dance and put-luck picnic lunch for all. Bring your friends and families to this fun-filled celebration!
Please bring a favourite dish, snack or drink to share!
For hiking, you may wish to wear long pants or skirts and sturdy boots or shoes.
In case of rain, sleet or snow, this event will be held at our Dharma Center located at 1501 E. Pipeline Rd., bedford, Tx. 76022
