Palyul Changchub Dhargyaling Dallas is Meditation and Study Center in the Nyingma Tradtition of Tibetan Buddhism and was founded by Venerable Khenchen Tsewang Gyatso Rinpoche in the Spring of 1998 under the direction of His Holiness Penor Rinpoche. Palyul Dallas is a 501C-3 non-profit organization and is one of the world-wide centers that has been established in connection with the Palyul mother monastery at Namdroling in Blyakuppe, India. Following the parinirvana of Holiness Penor Rinpoche in March 2009, the Palyul international network has been under the guidance and direction of chosen successor, His Holiness Karma Kuchen Rinpoche, 12th Throneholder of the Palyul Lineage. Our center in Dallas continues to be guided by founder and Spiritual Director, Khenchen Tsewang Gyatso Rinpoche, who along with the support and assistance of Khenpo Tenzin Norgay Rinpoche and Lama Pasang Tenzin, visit several times each year to give teachings, empowerments, and personal instruction to those who are interested in in the path of Tibetan Buddhism.
Our mission is to offer the teachings of the Buddha to anyone who sincerely wishes to follow them;
especially those teachings of the Palyul Lineage/Nyingma Tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. To this end,
we are dedicated to maintaining a center where our teachers can teach, where our sangha can gather,
and where the preservation of Tibetan/Nepali cultural arts and sciences is encouraged and supported.
