Khenpo Tenzin Norgay Rinpoche was formally enthroned as a Khenpo by His Holiness Penor Rinpoche in 1998 after completing his training and three years of teaching at Ngagyur Nyingma Institute at Namdroling Monastery in Mysore, India. He has received all the major empowerments of the Rinchen Terzod, NamCho, Nyingthik Yabshi, Nyingma Kama and Mipham Kabum under such masters as His Holiness Penor Rinpoche, His Holiness Dilgo Kyentse Rinpoche, and esteemed Lamas Khenchen Tsewang Gyatso Rinpoche, Khenchen Pema Sherab,Khenpo Namdrol Tsering, and numerous others.
