Dallas Holiday Parade

This festive parade, full of larger-than-life floats and spirited marching bands, travels through the streets of Downtown Dallas with over 450,000 onlookers, making it one of the largest parades in the country. The parade takes place on the first Saturday of December.

Event Details

Dates: The first Saturday in December each year; the 2023 Parade is Saturday, December 2.

Cost: The parade is free to attend, but if you want a guaranteed seat, there are bleacher seats available for purchase. Tickets go on sale October 1.

Getting there: The parade route begins at Commerce and Houston Streets downtown. Pro tip – DART is the best way to get to downtown Dallas for the Dallas Holiday Parade. DART’s rail stations and bus stops get you within blocks of the parade route, and you can avoid the hassle of parking.

Things To See and Do

Be on the lookout for festive floats, marching bands, dance teams, giant balloons and, of course, special appearances by Santa and Mrs. Claus.
There will be plenty of options for food and drinks along the route – visit one of Downtowns many restaurants, or check out the food trucks that will be onsite for the parade.
