With two major Fourth of July celebrations in the city and a plethora of family-friendly events in various neighborhoods, making plans for Fourth of July are easy!
Free and open to the public, Fair Park Fourth features hands-on activities for kids, local market vendors, live music, entertainment, food trucks, and other concession offerings. In addition to the fun-filled activations for all, Fair Park Fourth will light the sky with a spectacular firework show. Guests can experience the show from inside the iconic Cotton Bowl Stadium or across Fair Park.

Getting there: Fair Park Fourth is held at historic Fair Park, at 3809 Grand Ave. in South Dallas. Pro tip – take the DART Green Line to Fair Park Station and avoid traffic and parking.
Patriotic tunes, children’s activities and a fireworks show await at Klyde Warren Park for a free, family-friendly event in honor of the Fourth of July. On top of the special activities available for the event, visitors can explore the park’s year-round offerings including the Sheila and Jody Grant Children’s Park, food trucks and on-park restaurants.
